I took seroquel xr for anogenital schizophrenia and generalized anxiety disorder. After 2 weeks of taking the medication I felt better and I started getting better again. I have not had side effects and I still have an anxiety disorder and some serious mental health issues. I was very depressed and anxious for a while, but my doctor prescribed me XR to help me focus and to control my anxiety.

I had been on seroquel for 2 months and my doctor told me I should try taking an anti-psychotic medication, like lithium or valium. I was very depressed and I took a pill, but I was fine for the first week. I took XR for 6 months and I felt better. I don’t think I’m an ideal candidate for this medication. After 2 months, my doctor prescribed me a new anti-psychotic medication to help me manage my symptoms. I took another pill, and it helped me more.

Condition: Mental Health Disorder

I started taking this medication for the first time on my second dose. It helped a lot to be able to focus and get used to my symptoms. I have had the same problems with other medications that were side effects that I needed to treat. I took it for a year and I didn’t want to see my family again. I have also had side effects like headache, muscle aches, and stomach problems that were milder than I had previously. I felt better the next day. I have tried several other meds and they are the ones I started taking that helped me.

Quetiapine, commonly sold under the brand name Seroquel, is a type of prescription medication called an antipsychotic drug. These medications often treat conditions that can cause psychosis or losing touch with reality, but they also help with different kinds of depression and anxiety—especially when first-line treatments aren’t enough.

There are two types of antipsychotic drugs. “Typical” antipsychotics refer to the first generation of these drugs, which were developed in the 1950s. “Atypical” antipsychotics, which were introduced in the 1990s, are considered second-generation drugs. They are just as effective as typical antipsychotics but are much less likely to cause complications such as movement and motor control problems.

Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic. It changes how certain chemicals (dopamine and serotonin) work in the brain.

Dopamine is a “chemical messenger” (neurotransmitter) that delivers instructions to nerve cells in the brain. It helps control mood, pleasure, motivation, memory, attention, and other functions. Serotonin is also a chemical messenger. It’s sometimes called the feel-good chemical because it helps regulate your mood and sense of well-being.

In people with depression or psychosis, dopamine and serotonin signals don’t work properly. Quetiapine works by blocking these abnormal signals.
